ANNE FIELDS (nee MORRISON) After a brief illness while visiting her family in Edmonton, Anne Fields died peacefully amid the laughter and tears of her family on Thursday, April 19, 2001. Anne Fields is survived by her devoted husband Bill; daughter Gale (Bill) Fisher of Winnipeg; son Glenn (Linda) Fields of Edmonton; six grandchildren, Kelly, Laura, Bethan and Chris (Fisher) Chris and Dave (Fields) six great-grandchildren; her brothers, Alex and Bill and her sisters Irene and Kay (Belcourt). She was predeceased by her sisters, Edith (Hardy) and Violet. A private funeral service was held in the Chapel at the University of Alberta Hospital where the familys and Annes last days together were made so much easier due to the love and attention of the wonderful staff both in the emergency area and the Family Services Unit. In place of a funeral service in Winnipeg the family has requested that friends and relatives wishing to pay their respects join us at the Archwood Community Club on Sunday, May 6 at 2:00 p.m. for a celebration of Ma Fields.
