Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMANUEL REGO MELO FAIAL It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Manuel Rego Melo Faial on April 24, 2001 at the Seven Oaks Hospital following a lengthy illness. Manuel will be lovingly remembered by his wife Nalia of 51 years; his daughter Lucy; his sons, Joe, Manuel (Marie) and Vincent (Teresa) nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He also leaves his sister Isulina Frado and brother-in-law Americo Frado; numerous nephews, nieces and family in Azores, Portugal. Manuel was born in Ribeira Grande Soa Miguel, Azores, Portugal on May 12, 1926. He immigrated to Canada in 1957, where he settled in Winnipeg with his family. Prayers will be said on Friday, April 27 at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 28 at 9:30 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 181 Austin St. with Fr. Jose Eduardo Medeiros officiating. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery. The family would like to extend special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff on the 3rd floor at the Seven Oaks Hospital for their care and compassion.
