WASYLKA (LENA) JAMAN It is with great sorrow that we, the family, announce the passing of Wasylka Jaman (Sedor), age 92, of Vita, Man., on Tuesday, April 24, 2001, at the Vita and District Hospital. Mom was born March 23, 1909, in Sirko, Man., to Mary and Theodore Sedor. She had five brothers and three sisters whom she cared for very deeply. She married William Jaman and lived with him on the farm in Arbakka until his passing in 1957. They had three sons and one daughter. Mom loved the farm. She also took great pleasure in spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren who were the light of her life. Her favourite pastimes were gardening and visiting with her many friends at the Shady Oaks Lodge in Vita where she resided until her passing. She is survived by her three sons, George (Elsie), John (Carolyn), Morris (Sandra) her daughter Elsie (Larry) 11 grandchildren, Jeff, Robert, Cathy, Jason, Jennifer (Nigel), Tammy, Jackie, Christy, Karen, Wesley, Amy; three great-grandchildren, Jessica, Jayden, Taylor and two sisters, Helen Badiuk of Ft. Francis, Ont., and Kay Satkevicias of St. Catherines, Ont. She was predeceased by her husband William in 1957; five brothers, John, George, Bill, Mike, Nick and one sister Doreen. The funeral service will be held Friday, April 27 at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach at 10:30 a.m. with a viewing at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the St. Peter and St. Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery in Arbakka, Man. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 301 - 352 Donald St., Winnipeg, Man., R3B 2H8. A special thank you to Dr. Humphreys, Dr. Smith and the caring nursing staff at the Vita and District Hospital.
