Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJANET PARISELLA (nee BELISLE) It is with great sadness that the family of Janet Parisella announces her passing on Saturday, April 21, 2001, after a chronic illness, at Valley Hospital in Bergen County, New Jersey. She was predeceased by her father Eugene Belisle in 1989 and her son Neil in 1997. Left to treasure her memory are her loving husband Frank Parisella of Paramus, Bergen County, New Jersey; her mother Beth Belisle of Toronto, and her brother Allan Belisle and his wife Beatrice of Toronto and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Janet was born in Winnipeg on January 19, 1934. She received her early education in Winnipeg and her Registered Nursing Certificate from St. Boniface Hospital in 1955, attended the University of Manitoba and subsequently worked as a public health nurse in Manitoba. In 1984, Janet received her Nurse Practitioners Certificate in New York. She embarked on a Masters of Nursing program subsequently, which she almost completed prior to the onset of her illness. She worked as a nurse practitioner in Manhattan and was recognized as a specialist in family planning, until her retirement in 1996. Janets immediate family, relatives and numerous friends will miss her keen wit, sense of mischief and infectious laughter; her strong intellect, wisdom and love of learning; her integrity, great strength and courage and most of all her capacity for caring and empathy. She will remain an inspiration to all who knew her. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 26 at St. Peters The Apostle Church at River Edge, Bergen County in New Jersey. Those wishing to make donations in Janets memory may do so to any A.L.S. Society. "Her life has touched our hearts with special memories. Everyone whose life her spirit touched will remember, will acknowledge, will miss her forever." REST IN PEACE, DEAR JANET
