Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDONALD RAY BARNES It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and brother, Donald Ray Barnes, on Monday, April 23, 2001, in Dauphin, Man., at the age of 50 years. Don was born August 12, 1950, in Winnipeg. After overcoming many obstacles in his life he earned his Bachelor of Social Work Degree in Dauphin. He worked with West Region Child and Family Services for the past 15 years. He was well respected and loved by many people. Dons favourite pastimes were riding his Harley-Davidson, Tae Kwon Do and spending time with his family and friends. Donald was predeceased by his father Howard in 1969 and his mother Edna in 1998. He leaves to mourn his passing and cherish many fond memories his loving wife Jan; daughters, Erin and Kala and son Bryan. He also leaves to mourn his brothers, Danny of Regina, Gary (Sharon) of Thunder Bay and Glen of Regina; sisters, Sandra (Fred) of Regina and Kim (William), also of Regina, as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Prayers will be held at Sneath Strilchuk Funeral Home on Thursday, April 26 between 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 27 at 11:00 a.m. at the Selo-Ukraina Hall, Pastor Michael Bolton officiating, followed by the interment at Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Don to the Canadian Cancer Society or Manitoba Lung Association. His family would like to express their many thanks to family, co-workers and friends for their support at this most difficult time. MEGWETCH
