GERTRUDE M. (JONNI) BEACHELL 1909 - 2001 Gertrude M. Beachell, known to many as Jonni, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 26, 2001 at Oakview Place Care Home. She was 91 years of age. Jonni was born on July 1, 1909 in Grandview, Manitoba. She met and married Jack Beachell and the couple lived in Wildwood Park for over 40 years. Jonnie worked in the Mail Order Department at Eatons for most of her working career. Jonni will be remembered for her enjoyment of sports. She was a staunch supporter of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and in her later years enjoyed golfing and curling. Jonni was predeceased by her husband Jack in 1984 and her sister Ethel Fox. She leaves to mourn her passing and to cherish her memory her many nieces and nephews and numerous cousins. At Jonnis request, cremation has taken place and no service will be held. Cremation committal will follow at a later date in St. Michaels Cemetery at Grosse Isle, Manitoba. Arrangements in care of: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CEMETERY AND CREMATORIUM 885-9715
