ANTONINO BERGAMORTO It is with deep sorrow that the family announces the passing of Antonino Bergamorto at the Seven Oaks Hospital on Friday, April 27, 2001 at the age of 87. Antonino was born on February 4, 1914 in the town of Capaci, province of Palermo, Sicily. He married Antonietta Sciara Bergamorto. Later moved to Winnipeg and lived with her until her passing in 1992. Antonino will be lovingly remembered by his four children, daughter Maria and her husband Giovanni Provenza and their children, Rosa and her husband Nino Costanzo and their children Anthony, Loriana, Antonietta and husband Vincenzo Cutrona and their daughter Stefani, daughter Anna and her husband Gerardo Boniello and their children Lisa, Rocco and his wife Christine and their children Alyssa and Brendan, son Salvatore and his wife Allison and their children Katrina, Antonio and his wife Patricia and their daughter Violet, Vanessa and her husband Cameron Morrison and son Jesse, son Gaetano and his children Antonino and Sabrina and their mother Rosa. Antonino also leaves to mourn him in Sicily his three sisters, Maria Battalia, Grazia Canino and Antonina Costanzo with their families, numerous nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law and sister-in-law. Antonino worked at Motorcoach Industries for many years. He was a caring man, who always put his family first. He will be sadly missed and remembered by all who knew him. Prayers will be said on Sunday, April 29 at 7:30 p.m. in the Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Avenue. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 30 at 11:00 a.m. also in Holy Rosary Church with Reverend Fr. Sam Argenziano presiding at the Eucharist. Entombment will follow in the Assumption Mausoleum, 3990 Portage Avenue. Pallbearers will be Rocco Boniello, Antonio Bergamorto, Antonino Bergamorto, Vincenzo Cutrona, Antonino Costanzo, Anthony Costanzo. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 10-120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3C 4G2, 943-6622. P. COUTU & CO.
