MICHAEL GRYWINSKI It is with great sadness, Michael Grywinski, Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather, passed on peacefully on April 26, 2001 at Concordia Hospital at the age of 87 years, with his wife and family at his side. Michael was born on May 16, 1913 in Fisher Branch, MB. As a young man, he lived in Poplarfield with his family. He began playing his violin at an early age and this soon became a passion, playing his violin at weddings and socials. He then moved to Winnipeg. He worked at CNR for many years and retired at the age of 64. He continued to be musically active and composed music and had many tapes made. Michaels memory will be forever cherished by his wife of 64 years, Rose (Nadoryk), his two daughters, Elsie Manolaros and Maxine Grywinski, son-in-law John Manolaros; grandchildren Nicholas and Maria Manolaros, Joanna Spaziani (Phil) and great-grandchild Michael, sister Mary Kucy, brother William, many nieces, nephews and many dear friends. He was predeceased by his father Stephen, mother Ksania, his brothers Peter, Charles, Walter and John and sisters Anne, Kay and Olga. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 30, 2001 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m., at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with Funeral Service on Tuesday, May 1 at 11:00 a.m., also at the Chapel. Interment will follow in Brookside Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Nicholas Manolaros, Maria Manolaros, Gordon Fayfogle, Ronnie Grywinski, Frank Nadoryk and Danny Nadoryk. Honorary Pallbearers will be Peter Zasitko, Allan Syganic, Joe Rogowski, Dave Beach, and Joe Wozlowski. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Michaels memory to Parkinson Foundation of Canada, 204-825 Sherbrook St., Wpg., R3A 1M5. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL in care of arrangements - 586-8044.
