CY HUFFMAN Suddenly on April 26, 2001, Cy was taken from us. Cy was born on April 18, 1920. He lived his entire life in St. Vital. He retired from the Post Office in 1981. Throughout his life, family was always most important. Cy faced many serious health problems He married his dear wife Shirley (nee Gray) in March 1952. They enjoyed a warm loving relationship for 48 years. Sadly he lost his love on March 6, 2000.during his lifetime but the love, support and encouragement of his family gave him the determination to overcome each of them. Left to cherish his memory are his daughter Marilyn (Randy) Lindquist; son Glen (Debbie) and his five very special grandchildren, Mark, Eric and Matthew Lindquist and Kayla and Robyn Huffman. He is also survived by his sister Earla Huffman and brother Harvey (Evelyn) of Vancouver. His nieces and nephews will also fondly remember him as he was a major part of their lives. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 30 at 11:00 a.m.in the Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway. A private interment has taken place. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations in Cys memory may be made to Cancer Care Manitoba, ON109-675 McDermot Ave. R3E 0V9. A man really never dies while there are those on earth who love him.
