Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • I miss sitting around the table having tea and chatting about the worlds situations. She lived through 2 world wars. I used to say to her that her stories were good and she said, "They aren't stories, they are true." She was a good person. - Posted by: Jody (granddaughter) on: Jun 10, 2020

  • Thank you Grandma for the story you told me about the insurance salesman who mocked you for not buying an insurance policy for your baby who had passed away. You felt bad about telling him to leave your doorstep and I think about that compassion you had in your heart for another human being. I also think about your strength, talent, kindness, intelligence, honesty, sense of humor and our trip to Ontario by train to name a few more good memories I have of you. Thank you again Grandma. Miss you always. - Posted by: Susan (Granddaughter) on: Apr 19, 2018
