Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARJORIE ELSIE HEDLEY After a courageous battle, our Mum, Marjorie Elsie Hedley passed away on April 26th, 2001 at Grace Hospital, with the love of her family around her. The beloved mother of Janice and Donald Hedley, Marj was a spirited fighter to the end of her 81 years. Marjorie was born in London, England, and resided in London, Brandon, Toronto and Winnipeg. During the Second World War, she met her husband, Thomas Hedley and immigrated to Canada. Marjorie enjoyed her walks, (especially with her friend Kitty), her books and movies, but most of all, her family. She was the absolute queen of desserts, and always the winner at Trivia Pursuit. All who knew her will miss her strength of character and her loving generosity. Her husband Thomas predeceased her in April 1981. She is survived by her sister Vera Bishton (Alan) of London, England. She will be deeply missed by her devoted daughter, Janice Hedley Fisher (Lloyd) and her son, Donald Hedley (Cheryl). Her grandchildren, Thomas and Raegan Hedley will cherish with tenderness their dear Grandma Marj. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 1st, at 2:00 p.m. at Sturgeon Creek United Church, 207 Thompson Drive. Flowers are gratefully declined. If friends desire, donations can be made in memory of Marj to the Cancer Society. NEIL BARDAL FUNERAL HOME, 949 2200. "Mans reach must exceed his grasp, or whats a heaven for"
