Ev travelled extensively on her annual vacations, and was very active and often she and Jim would spend an evening at the skating rink, bowling alley or curling rink. Ev was a member of Westminister United Church and of the Eastern Star, St. Johns Chapter for many years and participated in their many activities until illness prevented her from doing so.
