EVERETT JOHN CALE On Saturday, April 28, 2001, Everett John Cale, dearly beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully at his home, at the age of 91 years. Everett was predeceased by his parents; seven brothers and two sisters. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Mary; brother Clare of Brandon; daughter Linda (Gerald) Chisholm of New Brunswick; son Keith (Valerie) of Winnipeg; two grandchildren, Chris (Sheryl) Cale of Winnipeg and Amber (Bruce) Hatcher of Colorado; six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In celebrating Evs life, we remember his early life in Saskatchewan, his service in the Royal Canadian Air Force, his work at the C.N. Shops as an engine mechanic and his work at Westview School as custodian (1959 - 1975). We cherish our memories of his love of his family, children, gardening and life. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 3 at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day St. with Rev. Carol Fletcher officiating. A private interment will take place at a later date in Pipestone, MB. In lieu of flowers, if friends so wish, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
