Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALEXANDER DUDYCH May 14, 1912 - April 29, 2001 It is with love and sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Alexander Dudych of Hazelridge, Mb at the Oakbank Kin Place Nursing Home, Sunday, April 29, 2001 at the age of 88 years, with his family by his side. He is lovingly remembered by one daughter Adel (Joe) Ewanika; sons, Dennis (Jean), Lorne (Gloria) and Paul (Gloria) his grandchildren, Randy, Trish (Brian), Dee, Ron (Audrey), Sandra (Tom), Sheryl (Tim), Deneen (Sean), Cyndi (Jim), Kevin, Paul Jr. (Jody), Colleen (Chris) and Terrie (Brett) great-grandchildren, Kaitlan, Dylan, Jordyn, Kevin and Megan; brother Fred and sister Kay Buhay; also numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Alex was predeceased by his loving wife Katie in 1996; his son Peter in 1991, his parents, three brothers and two sisters. Alex was born in Chatfield. He married Katie and farmed in the Hazelridge district. He was an active member of the Immaculate Conception Ukrainian Church, Cooks Creek, MB and was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. Farming and music was a big part of his life. He left a legacy to his children and grandchildren, a strong faith, positive aspects of life, honesty, integrity, hard work and love of family. Prayers will be said at Immaculate Conception Ukrainian Catholic Church, Cooks Creek on Wednesday, May 2 at 7:30 p.m. Divine Liturgy will be sung at Immaculate Conception Ukrainian Catholic Church on Thursday, May 3 at 10:00 a.m. with Fr. Taras Kowch officiating. Interment will follow at the Pine Ridge Cemetery, Birds Hill Park, MB. Pallbearers will be Randy Ewanika, Ron Dudych, Paul Dudych Jr., Colleen and Terrie Dudych and Sandra Pochuk. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank-you to the nurses and staff for their wonderful care at Kin Place, Oakbank, MB In lieu of flowers, friends may make donations to the Immaculate Conception Ukrainian Catholic Church, Cooks Creek, MB.
