HAROLD McDONALD Peacefully on April 27, 2001 our Husband, Dad and Grandpa passed away at the age of 80. Dad was born April 2, 1921, the son of the late James and Catherine McDonald. Dad is survived by his loving wife of 51 years Frieda; son Ken and wife Jan McDonald of Edmonton and their children, Kerry and Tracey; daughter Barb and husband Bob Frost of Winnipeg and their children, Derek and Stacey; son Rick of Winnipeg and his son Jeremy; son David and wife Tammy of Cold Lake and their child Trenton. Dad was one of 11 children. Left to cherish his memory are his sisters, Laura Dutchak (Louie), Edna Warwick (Cecil), Cecelia Sopiwnyk (Nick) and Mildred Picklyk. Dad was predeceased by his brothers, Charles, Norman, Sydney and sisters, Pearl, Alice and Hazel. One of Dads favourite pastimes was going to see the boys at the Legion. Due to health problems Dad could no longer enjoy their functions and greatly missed the gang. But he still managed to enjoy outings at Deer Lodge and Fred Douglas. One of his greatest joys was watching the Blue Jays and curling with Mom. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 1, at 2:00 p.m., in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. Interment in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
