EDNA MARIE VAWRYK (nee DUCHARME) With deep sadness we remember and celebrate the life of Edna Vawryk (nee Ducharme) who died on Friday, April 27, 2001 at the age of 80 years at Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg. Edna was the beloved wife of Frank Vawryk and the couple spent the last 52 years of their lives together. She will be greatly missed and is survived by her husband Frank; daughter by marriage Gloria; her grandson Kelly; nieces, Hilda, Ida, and Carol; and nephew Gilbert. She was predeceased by family members, Patrick Ducharme her father, mother Clarice (nee Flamonde) brothers, Bill, Phil, Rod, Louie, Joseph, Robert, Donald; sisters, Olivia and Mimie; and nephew Tiger. Winnipeggers may remember Edna as the owner and operator of House of Gowns in Winnipeg. For more than 20 years, she worked as a designer specializing in wedding parties. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on today, Wednesday, May 2 at 1:30 p.m. in the Parish of St. Ignatius of Loyola Roman Catholic Church, 255 Stafford St., with Rev. Fr. Joseph C. Johnson, S.J., presiding. Interment will be held on Thursday, May 3 at 2:00 p.m, in the Assumption Cemetery, 3990 Portage Ave. WOJCIKS FUNERAL CHAPEL & CREMATORIUM 897 - 4665
