EILEEN CHUDZIK (nee SHAW) It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Eileen Chudzik, after a brief illness, on Saturday, April 28, 2001 at the Grace Hospital, with her beloved husband, John, by her side. Eileen was born on January 5, 1926 and raised in Winnipeg and attended Winnipeg schools. She worked at The Bay for over 30 years and retired in 1984. Eileen will always be remembered for her good nature and wonderful sense of humour. She will be dearly missed by her husband John. She was a pillar in his life when he needed it most. She leaves to mourn many family and friends. Eileen was predeceased by her father Jack; mother Mabel and sister Viola. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 3 at 12:30 p.m. at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. A gathering of friends and family will be held in the Chapel Lawn Reception Centre. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the Salvation Army Memorial Fund, 500 - 55 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 1L8.
