Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWALTER JOHN LEMECHA 1939 - 2001 It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Lemecha on April 29, 2001. Walters kindness and his relentless wit drew children and adults alike. He was a thoughtful person and a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend. We will miss his gentleness, his intelligence and his good humour. Walter loved family gatherings and celebrations. He especially adored spending time with his grandchildren, Jasmine and Jordan and took pride in their many accomplishments. He enjoyed helping his daughter Lisa and her husband Geordie with projects in their new home and was always ready to lend his exceptional research skills and advice. He spent many pleasurable hours over the years with his brother-in-law Dave camping and fishing and he looked forward to the time he spent assisting his brother Boris in his fishing tackle store. He always looked forward to weekends spent at the lake with his common-law wife Darlene and stepson Dale, daughter-in-law Tracy and grandson Blake. Walter will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Lisa, his son-in-law Geordie and twin grandchildren, Jasmine and Jordan; his common-law wife Darlene Jordan; his stepson Dale; daughter-in-law Tracey and grandson Blake; his sister Vera, brother-in-law Andre, and nephew Felix; his brother Boris, sister-in-law Diane, and nephew Trevor; his brother-in-law Dave; his nieces, Lynda, Caroline, Donna, Debra and Sharon; Darlenes brothers, Fred and Joe, and her mother Ann; his great-nieces and great-nephews, and his friends. For My Dear Father, You have always been there since the day I was born and even now that I am a woman full-grown with children of my own. You have helped me throughout all the ups and downs and you have guided me to make the right decisions in my life. I can now only cherish all the precious memories weve shared and pass on to my own children all of your wonderful wisdom that you have passed one to me. Especially Dad, thank you for teaching me how to be so strong. Love, your daughter Lisa My dearest Walter, Keep our love warm until we are forever together again, Dar In keeping with Walters wishes, cremation has occurred.
