Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFLORENCE PFIEFER It is with much sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Florence on Sunday, April 29, 2001 after a short but valiant battle with cancer. Florence had a great love for her family, friends and church. She will be deeply missed by her sister Ruth; niece Candace and great-nieces, Kara, Stefie and Emma who shared in her life. She will also be deeply missed by the families of her brothers, Andy and Harry (deceased) and by her sister Josie. She will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank friends and relatives for the support given to Florence during her illness. Thanks also to the staff at the Health Sciences Centre for their excellent care during this difficult time. Prayer service for Florence will be held at the St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church, 255 Stafford St. at Corydon on Thursday, May 3 at 8:00 p.m. Fr. Peter Monty S.J. will officiate. Funeral mass will be celebrated by Fr. Eric Jensen s j the following day, May 4 at 1:30 p.m. also at the church. The service will terminate at the church. Private interment of Florences cremated remains will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to do so may make a donation in Florences memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg R3C 9Z9.
