LUZ M. VENERACION Peacefully on Monday, April 30, 2001 at the St. Boniface Hospital, Luz Veneracion passed away. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Elisea, Purita (Vicente), Erlinda (Sergio), Florinda (Elias), Amy, Cecilia (Gil) son-in-law Noel and daughters-in-law, Leticia and Dorothea; grandchildren, Rey, Nathan (Kate), Grace, Melissa, Faye, Sarah, Tim and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren in the U.S.A. and the Philippines; sisters, Julieta and Josefina (U.S.) Luz was predeceased by her loving husband Dionisio; children, Carmelita, Napoleon, Amado, Gloria and Teresita. Luz was a very loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be sadly missed by her family, relatives and many friends. Viewing will be held Wednesday, May 2 between 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Prayers will be said at 8:00 p.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 232 Kennedy St. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 4 at 1:00 p.m. in the St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 505 Brewster St., Transcona, Rev. Father W. Rebillaco will be presiding. Interment will follow in the Waverley Memorial Gardens, 1501 Waverley St. Reception will follow at Waverley.
