ROBERT (BOB) IRWIN CONNON Peacefully, on Monday, April 30, 2001, at the age of 66 years, Bob passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital. Bob was predeceased by his parents, Grace and Irwin (Red) Connon. Bob will be lovingly remembered by his wife Deborah Loveday; sisters, Pat (Ed) Labossiere, Marianne (Roland) Abbors; brother Lyle (Terry) Connon; his aunt Jean (Ed) Novak, as well as many nieces and nephews. Bob was a quiet man who enjoyed travel and bowling. He bowled in various leagues, including the St. James Senior Mens, Buffalo Recreation and Broadway Mixed. He enjoyed cribbage and watching sports, in particular baseball. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, on Friday, May 4, at 12:30 p.m. A reception for family and friends will follow in the Chapel Lawn Reception Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bobs memory may be made to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301 - 352 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB, R3B 2H8 or to the Arthritis Society 105 - 386 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 3R6.
