MARY HANNAH FARQUHARSON (nee Belsham) Our dear wife, mother and grandmother passed away peacefully at home May 1, 2001. She will be greatly missed by her beloved husband of 51 years, James; her son Chris and his wife Peggy and their children Christie and Carla as well as her son Darrell and his wife Jackie. She will also be missed by her sisters, Ellen and Winnie. She was predeceased by her parents William and Elizabeth (nee Griffin) Belsham; her sisters Gladys Squires, Edith Koskie and her brother Chris Belsham. Mary was born in Monominto on January 19, 1924. She enjoyed playing baseball while growing up. Her other pastimes included bowling and bingo. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her "grand-dogs". Mary was very happy to be able to celebrate her 50th wedding anniversary with James, family and friends. The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Terry Chlysta for his years of excellent care. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marys memory may be made to a charity of your choice. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, May 4 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Viewing will be held one half hour prior to the service and a reception will follow the service in the Chapel Lawn Reception Centre.
