ANNE HORNING (nee PROKOPOW) Peacefully, on Saturday, April 29, 2001, at Holy Family Nursing Home, Anne Horning passed away at the age of 83 years. Anne was predeceased by her husband Stanley in 1982; parents, Fred and Tekla, both in 1968; sister Mary in 1937; brother Michael in 1981. She will be lovingly remembered by her brother Walter and wife Maryanne; sister-in-law Anne Prokopow; nieces and nephews. Anne was born in Winnipeg on August 17, 1917. She worked for the Government of Canada until her retirement. Anne enjoyed gardening, and visiting her brother Walter and his family in California. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 8, at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery. Special thanks to all the staff at Holy Family Nursing Home for the care given and kindness shown to Anne. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Annes memory to a charity of ones choice.
