GEORGE DYCK On May 1, 2001, George Dyck passed away in the arms of his family. George was born at home in Letellier, MB on September 16, 1931. George was predeceased by his father Abram; mother Elizabeth; brothers, Abe and Bernie; sisters, Tina and Nettie. He is survived by brothers, Pete (Lorna) of Chilliwack, BC; John (Ruby) of Winnipeg and sister-in-law Sue of Steinbach. Also by numerous nieces and nephews including special nieces, Shirley, Carol, Brenda and Debbie. George lived his life like the independent soul he was. Special thanks to Dr. Joshua and nurse Michaela in the Emergency Room and nurses, Kathy, Chris and Collette of 3 North at the Grace Hospital for the special care they gave to George. At Georges request cremation has taken place and no service will be held. A private family burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in Georges memory may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent Road Winnipeg, MB R2L 1X3.
