Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPETER WILLIAM GRAHAM At the age of 59 on March 15, 2001, at Langley BC. Peter is survived by his children, Pamela (Craig), Jennifer (Glen), Stephen, Andrew and Angela; his grandchildren, Erin, Eric and Nathan; and his sister Lorraine (Nelson Lohnes). He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph (1978) and Joanne (1995), and brother John (1998). Peter earned his BFA from the U of M (1963) and worked for many years at the MB Dept of Hwys as a draftsman/analyst. Upon moving to BC in 1990 he worked as a freelance art teacher in the schools and art galleries of the greater Vancouver area and in Prince George. Peter also added to his own works of art in oils, watercolour, pottery, paper-cutting, and sculpture. Peter was a founding member of MAP; a coordinator and Mayor at the Poland/Krakow pavilion, Folklorama; he served on the Board of Directors of the Folk Arts Council; and as President of the MB Safety Council. He was a school trustee for RESD No. 9 in Winnipeg for 12 years, and was the first BFA-graduate to sit on the Board of Governors at the U of M. Cremation has taken place, and a funeral mass was held at St. Josephs Roman Catholic Church in Langley. There will be a graveside ceremony for the family at Assumption Cemetery, 3990 Portage Ave. on April 27 at 2:00 p.m.
