PAUL SAMBORSKI Peacefully, with his family at his side, Paul Samborski, aged 87 years of Morden, MB formerly of Roseau River passed away at the Morden Hospital on Tuesday, April 24, 2001. Paul was predeceased by his wife Nettie, parents, John and Barbara and brothers, Anton, Mike and Peter. Paul leaves to mourn two daughters and sons-in-law, Diane and Peter Shpak, Sylvia and John Podolsky, all of Winnipeg, one son and daughter-in-law Ron and Val Samborski of Morden; seven grandchildren, Tammy, Darren, Jackie and husband Warren, Derek, Aaron, Evan and Zach; two brothers, Walter of Edmonton (Joe) Mary of Winnipeg one sister Helen (Peter) Kohut of Winnipeg. Paul was born in Stuartburn on May 16, 1913 and grew up in the Roseau River area where he later operated a service station and post office with his wife Nettie for many years. He continued to reside in Roseau River for several years after his retirement before moving to Morden. Paul was a gentle, loyal, hard-working, loving family man who adored his children and grandchildren. He will be sadly missed, fondly remembered and eternally loved by all who knew him. Prayers will be said at Loewen Funeral Chapel in Steinbach on Friday, April 27 at 7:30 p.m. followed by the funeral service on Saturday, April 28th at 10:30 a.m. at the Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church in Rosa, Manitoba with interment to follow at Plankey Plains Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Boundary Trails Health Centre, Morden, Manitoba. Memory Eternal Arrangements entrusted to Loewen Funeral Chapel of Steinbach.
