JOHN RAYMOND KUBISEWSKY "MONKEY" November 22, 1958 - May 3, 2001 Peacefully at home with his loving wife and close friends at his side, Johnny lost his long and courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by his brother Gordon, he is survived by his wife Anne; parents, Frank and Evelyn Kubisewsky of Kenora; sister Teresa (Steve) of Richmond, BC; brothers, Nick (Helen), Dave (Majan), Alan and Joe, all of Kenora; also brothers-in-law, Tim (Jan), Bill (Heather), John (Brenda) and numerous nieces and nephews. John also leaves behind his "special parents", Darlene and Gary Fish of Kenora, whom he loved and respected greatly; his best friend Heather; and fishing buddy Rick. He had a caring relationship with all of the children of his wifes daycare, who all loved Johnny greatly, and will be lost without him. The family wishes to thank Dr. B. Schacter, Dr. D. Degroot, and the nurses from Oncology, Dawn, Pat and especially Sandi, who have all been there for us from the beginning. In lieu of flowers, Johns wish was for donations to be made to the Childrens Wish Foundation, in his name. Cremation has already taken place. A child-oriented memorial service will be held at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy. on Monday, May 7 at 1:00 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to Klassen Funeral Chapel, 338-0331.
