ELEANOR HEDWIG MELUCCI (nee BETKER) It is with deep sadness we announce the death of Eleanor, who after a short illness passed away on May 3, 2001 at home in Schenectady, N.Y. Eleanor was born in Winnipeg on February 6, 1926. Eleanors memory will be forever cherished by her husband Jim; two daughters, Nancy (Danny), Susan (Joey) a son Martin; three granddaughters, Heather, Sara, Samantha and one great-granddaughter; a sister Margaret Flather from Montreal, a brother Herb (Peggy) Betker from Saskatoon, and sister Ruth Wagner (Wilbert) from Winnipeg. She was predeceased by her parents, Emmanuel and Amelia Betker, two brothers, Rudy and George and an infant sister Doreen Grace. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
