LARRY PACHKOWSKI On a peaceful quiet night on a highway travelled many times, Larry was taken to be with his Lord and Saviour. He was predeceased by his parents, Peter and Florence Pachkowski (Kibalski). Larry will be forever cherished by brothers, Gerald (Lucy) and Barry; sisters, Patricia (David) and Linda; nieces, Carrie, Desiree; and nephews, Stephen and Jonathan; as well as other aunts and cousins; his family at Reimer Express Trucking. Larry was born July 16, 1956. Who was this man? A young boy who grew up having lost his parents at a young age. Larry spent a short time in the Armed Forces. Eventually working 11 years with Laidlaw Systems. The past five years with Reimer Express. Larry was very proud of the Five Year Safety Award he just received. His time on the road brought out a hidden gift of taking pictures. Larry left a picture legacy to his family that expresses who he was: pictures of the smallest flower to the highest mountain and everything in between. Many pictures of family as this was his greatest love. Larry accepted the Lord Jesus later in life and became forever faithful in his walk. The story of The Good Samaritan was Gods gift to Larry. Whether taking his buddy Linda for rides to Oak Hammock Marsh, roasting marshmallows with special niece Desiree or having his favourite barbecue with sister Pat, Larry was always giving, whether it was his time or gifts. Larry always felt others needs were more important than his own. All will miss his special sense of humour, throaty laugh, and his great stories. Larry was not a big talker, however, his words were spoken with meaning. He also became a very good hugger. A celebration of life will take place Tuesday, May 8 at 2:00 p.m. at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy, with Pastor Rob Dyer officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trinity Television in Larrys memory. Anyone whoever touched your heart is always with you, patiently waiting to emanate warmth and support whenever you remember to think of them. Arrangements entrusted to Klassen Funeral Chapel, 338-0331.
