EILEEN (MARGUERITE) HARRIS (nee Eisler) October 15, 1915 - May 1, 2001 Marguerite passed away peacefully on May 1, 2001. She was predeceased by her husband Bob on April 22, 2000, they had been married for 58 years. She was also predeceased by her parents, A. George and Laura (nee Ayers) Eisler and her sister Pearl. Marguerite is survived by her brothers, Robert (Helen), Irwin (Darlene), Gerald (Betty) and their respective families; brother-in-law Harold (Nelly) Harris; as well as many nieces and nephews. Marguerite was born and raised in the Reston, Manitoba area. She worked at Ninette Sanitarium then moved to Winnipeg where she was employed at McDonald Aircraft and later at Breslauer and Warren until their marriage December 12, 1942. She loved nature, gardening, knitting and tatting. In earlier years she enjoyed the company of her pet dogs, Patches and Silky. The family would like to thank home care personnel for her care during the past two years. Also, many thanks to friends, Dick and Elsie, Bill and Lil, Myrna and Stella. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marguerites memory may be made to the charity of your choice. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, May 7, 2001 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. Interment and reception will follow the service.
