Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALAN REGINALD PAGE CD July 18, 1947 - May 2, 2001 Suddenly on May 2, 2001 Alan Page passed away at the age of 52 years. He is survived by his loving son Jeromy; sister Shirley Wonitawy and friend Aurelia; step-sister Beryl Drummond (England) and many other extended family and friends. Alan served 18 years in the Armed Forces (Naval Communications) until his retirement from the service in 1983 as a Master Corporal. His service in the Navy afforded him the opportunity to work in Alert, NWT, Bermuda, BWI, Queen Charlotte Islands and Ottawa. Upon retirement from the Navy, Alan moved to Winnipeg where he was employed by the Corps. of Commissionaires and stationed at the Winnipeg Area Control Centre where he had many friends and colleagues. Although his focus in current years was based on genealogy he was also an avid collector of foreign coins and stamps. His pride and joy was his son Jeromy. He was so very proud of Jeromy and always referred to him as his greatest achievement. Over the years, Alan has taught his son patience, perseverance, sincerity and strength in hopes that these virtues would carry him throughout his lifetime. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Monday, May 7 at 7:00 p.m., at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Avenue, entrance of Aubrey Street.
