Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFLORENCE LENORA SMITH (nee MONTEITH) It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Florence Lenora Smith, aged 75, on Thursday, May 3, 2001, at the Victoria General Hospital in Winnipeg. Florence is survived by her daughters, Judith Tingley (Larry), Joanne Forster (Craig), Sheila Horwood (Rob), Victoria Hyra (Randy), and sons, Ronald Smith (Karen) and David Smith (Wendy) and 21 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her husband Leonard and her parents Hilda and Henry Monteith of High Prairie, Alberta. She was born in High Prairie, Alberta, and moved to Winnipeg after her marriage to Leonard in 1945. Florence was a devoted and caring wife, mother and grandmother whose creative talents were expressed through her many crafts, particularly quilting. A private family service will be held in the Chapel of Memories in Wojciks Funeral Chapel on Monday, May 7. Friends are invited to join the family at the home of Judith Tingley, 934 Oakenwald Avenue, also on Monday at 3:30 p.m. Our family wishes to express our sincere appreciation to Dr. Pacin and the caring staff at the Victoria General Hospital.
