Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCHARLES GLENN SINCLAIR Peacefully on May 4, 2001 at the Selkirk General Hospital, Charlie Sinclair, aged 71 years, of Selkirk, passed away with his family by his side. Charlie is survived by his best friend and wife of 46 years, Christina (Bunn) two sons, Richard (Stella) and Ashley (Debbie) of Kelowna, B.C.; five grandchildren, Nolan, Elise, Kelen, Savannah and Taylor; a brother Elmer of Nanaimo, B.C.; sisters, Louise Nickoshie of Moose Factory, ON and Lorna (Ken) Fleury of Selkirk. He is also lovingly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Catherine and Jim, sisters Rose Shrupka, Aurellia Thomas, Josephine Peebles and Bertha McCorrister and brothers Henry and Melford. Charlie was an explosives expert and was employed by the Government of Manitoba in the construction of airports in Northern Manitoba and Ontario. He also worked as a miner in various mines in the north. He was a lifelong member of the Royal Canadian Legion No. 42, Selkirk. Friends may call for viewing on Tuesday evening from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Gilbart Funeral Chapel in Selkirk. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 9 at 2:00 p.m. also in the chapel with Legion Padre Peter Cain officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Peters Cemetery. The family would like to express their appreciation to Dr. Demsas and the nurses at the Selkirk General Hospital for their excellent care of Charlie.
