Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT (BOB) GORDON BROWNE Robert (Bob) Gordon Browne beloved husband of Mrs. Islay Browne of Calgary, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on Friday, May 4, 2001 at the age of 81 years. He was born in Winnipeg MB. During the Second World War he served in the Royal Canadian Navy. He worked for the Canadian Indemnity Insurance Co. for over 40 years in Winnipeg and Calgary. He is survived by his wife Islay; five children, David Browne and his wife Colleen, Margaret Burrell and her husband Gordon, Gary Browne and his wife Dawn, Nancy Matthews and her husband Randy, Daniel Browne and his wife Colleen; four grandsons, Steven Burrell, Ryan and Ian Matthews, Nathaniel Browne; a brother William A. Browne. He will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by all who knew him. A private family service will be held.
