Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLLOYD DARLINGTON With great sadness, the family announces the death of Lloyd Garfield Darlington at the Donwood Manor on May 5, 2001, at the age of 81 years. Lloyd is survived by his beloved wife Joyce; daughters, Susan of Montreal and Laura (Richard Poritz) and grandsons, Freeman and Blake of Vancouver. He was predeceased by his parents, Hazel and Frank Darlington; brother Ken; and sister Margaret Winter of St. Thomas, ON. Lloyd was born and attended school in St. Thomas and served in the RCAF in the Second World War. He moved to Winnipeg in 1946. He was employed by the H. J. Heinz Company for many years. He had a great passion for sports, particularly hockey. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 1 at 3:00 p.m. at Windsor Park United Church, 1062 Autumnwood Dr. Those who would like to remember Lloyd may make a contribution to Windsor Park United Church.
