AUDREY PEARL (BRISSON) DOUPE On May 7, 2001 Audrey passed away at Victoria General Hospital, Winnipeg. Audrey was born September 3, 1926 at Virden, MB. She grew up on the family farm and took a course in L.P.N. After nursing for a few years, Audrey married Ben Doupe of Crandall, MB. She was a devoted wife. They enjoyed 44 years of married life living in several cities across Canada. (Ben worked with Income Securities). Ben passed away in 1999. In failing health, Audrey continued being a caring sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend. Left to mourn her passing are sister Lois Stewart (Winnipeg) and family; sister-in-law Val Brisson (Virden) and family; brothers-in-law Harold Doupe (friend Yvette) (Winnipeg) and family; Ron and Noraleen Doupe (Marsden, SK) and family; Stan and Vel Doupe (Hamiota) and family; sister-in-law Marg and Dave Heise (Hamiota) and family. Audrey was predeceased by her husband, Ben; her parents Dan and Gertrude Brisson; brother Donald Brisson; brother-in-law Mel Stewart; sister-in-law Joyce Doupe. Graveside burial service was at Crandall Cemetery, May 11, 2001. Donations may be made through the Winnipeg Foundation into BENJAMIN and AUDREY DOUPE MEMORIAL FUND. This fund pays equally into the ALS Society and the Manitoba Lung Association.
