Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPEARL MUNROE Mrs. Pearl Munroe, age 88, of Winnipeg passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2001 at Bethania Personal Care Home. Pearl was predeceased by her husband, Norman Munroe in 1985; one sister Gwen Stewart Olden and three brothers, Wallace, Russell and Theodore Timlick. She is survived by three daughters, Irene (Cliff) Hunter of Green Ridge, Barbara (Niell) Campbell of Oakville, ON, and Sandra Wyenberg of Winnipeg; also six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister Irene Anderson of Winnipeg; brother Grant (Marian) Timlick of Kelowna, BC and sister-in-law Sigrun Timlick of Winnipeg. Born Edith Pearl Timlick, on February 21, 1913, daughter of David and Mabel Timlick of Green Ridge. She married Norman Munroe, July 15, 1935, residing in Winnipeg in East and North Kildonan. At the age of 50 she graduated from Misericordia Hospital as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She then nursed in various facilities throughout the city. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 9 at John Black Memorial Church, 898 Henderson Highway, with Reverend Ann Duncan officiating. Interment Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be David Hunter, Roy Wyenberg, Robert Stewart, Malcolm Timlick, Ray Taplin and James Bezan. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Bethania Personal Care Home Chaplaincy Fund or John Black United Church Memorial Fund.
