JOHN BAKALAK It is with love and sadness that we announce the passing of our father, grandfather and great-grandfather, John Bakalak on May 8, 2001. After what seemed to be a long fought battle with his failing body, Dad left this earth to meet his Maker and to be reunited with our mother, Olga Bakalak. John was predeceased by his parents, John and Anne Bakalak of Rainy River, ON; grandson Roger; granddaughter Amanda, both of Winnipeg; brother Frank Bakalak of Vancouver, BC; and sister Katie Bynkoski of St. Catherines, ON. Also predeceasing him was his second wife Mary, who passed away in February of 1998. He also leaves behind to cherish his memory, stepchildren, Gerry, Darlene and Marilyn Magus; and a very special person to Dad, Bohdan McCarthy. Prayers will be held on May 10 at 7:30 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler at Henderson.
