RAYMOND FERRAND It is with deep sadness we announce the sudden passing of Raymond Ferrand, at the age of 62 years. We are grateful to God for allowing his family to be present at his side in his final hours. He will be forever cherished by his wife Helene; daughters, Suzanne (Travis McElroy), Carolyne and Lisa (Darren Penner). Granddaughters, Marina and Celeste will greatly miss their PePere. He was predeceased by his parents, Victor and Francoise, and his brother Albert. Raymond worked and lived at the family farm until 1979. A true farm boy not able to give up tractors and wide open spaces, he worked at the Carman Golf Course and then spent the last 13 years at Southwood Golf and Country Club. "Dad, we thank you for being so devoted to mom and to us. You were a kind and gentle man who would gladly do anything we asked of you. We appreciated you more than you could ever have imagined. On taime Papa". The family would like to thank the wonderful staff in the I.C.U. at Victoria General Hospital for their kindness and compassion during Rays final hours. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Manitoba Heart & Stroke Foundation. Funeral services will be held at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint) on Thursday, May 10 at 2:00 p.m. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the reception centre.
