Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY OZIRNEY It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife and beautiful mother on May 7, 2001, after a courageous battle with cancer. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 67 years, Alex and her four children, Natalie (Al), Elsie, Henry (Linda) and Marie (Fred). She is also survived by nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Mom was born August 25, 1912 in Stenen, SK., the third in a family of nine. She married Dad on February 1, 1934 and they began farming north of Stenen. Shortly thereafter they moved into Stenen where Dad operated a Blacksmith/Welding business. It was in 1953 that Mom accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Saviour through listening to Back to the Bible Broadcast. She was then baptised as a believer in 1958. They were members of Hyas Baptist Church for many years until 1979 when they moved to Stony Mountain where they became members of the New Life Baptist Church, Stonewall. In Stony Mountain, where they began their retirement, Mom enjoyed their big yard, her flowers, cooking, entertaining and singing. Mom was a prayer warrior who faithfully upheld all her family and the church before the Lord. She was the centre of our family life and will be greatly missed. TILL WE MEET AGAIN Friends may call from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, May 11 at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 12 at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall, Dr. Alf Bell will officiate and interment will follow in the Stonewall cemetery.
