Predeceased by parents, Axel and Ida Viberg; husband of 35 years, Russel Ball; brother Edwin Viberg and sister Astrid Stendahl. Survived by sisters, Vanda Adams, Sundre, AB; Elsa Johnson, Cobble Hill, BC; Mabel Nyberg, Calgary, AB; brother Clarence Viberg and wife Joyce of Broadview, SK; two stepsons, Glen Ball and wife June; and Reg; six grandchildren, great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Edith served with the R.C.A.F. during the Second World War. She was active in bowling and bridge and other various activities, and was an avid fan of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Funeral service will be held at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy. on Thursday, May 10 at 11:00 a.m. with a reception to follow. Donations may be made in Ediths memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301- 352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3B 2H8. Arrangements entrusted to Klassen Funeral Chapel, 338-0331.
