WILLIAM (BILL) KRUEGER It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dear brother, uncle and friend, William Krueger, on Sunday, May 6, 2001. Bill was born on April 12, 1910 at Lowe Farm, MB. His parents, Frank and Elsa Krueger; wife Dora; and brother Charles (Elsie) Krueger predeceased him. Left to mourn his loss are his two sisters, Erna (Lang) Kukelko, Freda (Bob) Blanco; aunt Anne Paterson; nephews, Will (Judy) Kukelko, Bob (Lois) Krueger; great-nephews and nieces, Jared and Jennifer Kukelko, Justin (Analeza) Krueger and Jessica Krueger. His good friends Edward Kernaghan and Shirley Nicholson as well as many other long time associates will also miss him. Bill worked on the family farm at Sanford, MB prior to his moving with his family to Winnipeg in 1947. He was employed at International Harvester as Tool Room Foreman until his retirement. While Bill enjoyed the outdoors, camping and fishing, his chief focus in life for the past 51 years as one of Jehovahs Witnesses was sharing with others the good news about Jehovahs Kingdom and the Bibles promise of eternal life on a paradise earth. His faith in the resurrection promise "You will call, and I myself will answer you" Job 14:14,15 gave him comfort. He shared this hope with all he met. For many years he faithfully served with the Woodlands, Manitoba Congregation, and presently was associated with the Balmoral Congregation of Jehovahs Witnesses. There will be a viewing on Thursday, May 10, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Thomson Funeral Chapels, Broadway and Furby. Burial will take place on Friday, May 11 at 11:00 a.m. in the family plot, Garry Memorial Park. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 12 at 3:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses, 1060 Wolever Ave., East Entrance, with Mr. Orest Allison presiding. Pallbearers will be, Edward Kernaghan, Will and Jared Kukelko, Bob and Justin Krueger and Don Karlenzig. THOMSON FUNERAL CHAPELS 783-7211
