E. VIOLA CAIN Mrs. E. Viola Cain, aged 65, of 962 County Road 266, Enterprise, AL, died Wednesday, May 9, 2001 at Flowers Hospital in Dothan. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. from the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany with the Rev. Glenn Totman, vicar, officiating. Cremation will follow the service. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday evening at Patterson-Sorrells Funeral Home, 1301 Neal Metcalf Rd., Enterprise, AL. If desired, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of Linda Andress, P.O. Box 310900, Enterprise, AL 36331-0900. Mrs. Cain was born November 11, 1935 at Winkler, MB, Canada, to John W. Enns and the late Helena (Hildebrand) Enns. She was a 1957 graduate of St. Boniface General Hospital School of Nursing in Winnipeg. Since moving to Enterprise in 1983 from New Mexico, Mrs. Cain worked with her husband in his medical practice until their retirement in 1996. She was a very active member of the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany, serving on the Altar Guild, the vestry, and the choir. Survivors include her husband, Dr. Douglas Cain of Enterprise; her father John Enns of Grunthal, MB; three sons, Richard (Beatrice) Cain of Estevan, SK, Robert (Sheila) Cain of Starkville, MS, and Philip Cain of Enterprise; five brothers, Howard Enns of Niverville, MB, Jim Enns of Brandon, MB, Richard Enns of Lilloett, BC, Gerald Enns of Niverville, MB, and Randy Enns of Kamloops, BC; four grandchildren, Nicole Cain, Heather Cain, Erin Cain, and Ian Cain; several nieces and nephews. Her mother and one son Peter Cain predeceased her.
