Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBETTY MARJORIE FOUBERT Betty Marjorie Foubert (Walmsley) passed away peacefully April 29, 2001 at the Lions Prairie Manor, Portage la Prairie, Manitoba. Betty was born June 5, 1923 in Winnipeg to John and Mary Walmsley. In 1947 she married James Roland Foubert of the Carman area. Throughout the years they resided in Bisset, MB. Salmo and Trail, BC, Medicine Hat, AB. Scarth and Pipestone, MB. Due to ill health in 1995, Betty then resided at Portage Lions Manor. She leaves to mourn her beloved husband Jim; sons, Rene (Karen), Michael (Arlene) daughters, Michelle (Attabiru) Alfa and Lisa (Gary) Minshull. Six grandchildren who will cherish her memory, Ismaila, Angela (Jason) McCutcheon, Aisha, Kyle, Heather, and Justin. Two great-grandchildren, Sade and Madison will be told what a great loving person she was. Sisters, Norma Walmsley, Marie Foubert Dorothy (Sid) Walmsley and sister-in-law Clara Walmsley; numerous nieces and nephews will also cherish her memory. Funeral service was held at the St. Johns Anglican Church, 80-2nd St. SW in Carman on May 3 at 3:30 p.m. Interment took place in the Elm Creek Cemetery. In memory of Betty, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba 301-352 Donald St. Winnipeg, MB. R3B 2H8. Doyles of Carman in care of arrangements.
