Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHARRY WOLOSHYN "TRANSCONA HARRY" December 28, 1937 - May 14, 2001 Passed away May 14, 2001 at Concordia Hospital after a short illness. Harry was pre-deceased by his brother Ray and sister-in-law Arlene. He leaves to mourn his passing, mother Nettie Kaminski; brothers, Stan (Norma), Eddie, Len (Holly) sisters, Anne Yakowchuk (friend Ron), Mildred Gera (Lawrence), Jean Redlick (Karl) sister-in-law Jean Woloshyn; and many nieces and nephews. Harry was born in the R.M. of Brokenhead, MB on December 28, 1937. He worked for C.N.R./VIA Rail for 37 years, retiring in 1997. Harry was an avid golfer, enjoyed curling, and was the "Worlds Best Crib Player." He also liked to play pool at the seniors clubhouse and Thursday Night Volleyball with the guys. Harry will be sadly missed by his many friends he visited in Acapulco for the last 38 years, and his close friends in Transcona and Winnipeg. Memorial service will be held on Friday, May 18 at 2:00 p.m. at Springfield Heights Church, 570 Sharron Bay, N. Kildonan (off Rothesay). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Transcona Retired Citizens Organization, 328 Whittier Ave. Winnipeg R2C 1Z8.
