Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGIUSEPPE (JOE) GIANCOLA We are greatly saddened to announce the death of Giuseppe Giancola on May 15, 2001 at the St. Boniface Hospital. Giuseppe was predeceased by his parents Enrigetta and Nicola Giancola, step-mother Maria (Guffie) Giancola, and his brother Albert. Giuseppe leaves to mourn his wife of 33 years, Giuditta; his daughter Rina; son Aurelio, and grandchildren, Christina and Anthony; brothers Mike (Lucy), Tony (Rita), Pasquale (Pauline), Salvatore and Luigi Giancola; sisters, Rita (Pellegrino) and Dolores; sister-in-law Elda Giancola. Giuseppe will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Giuseppe was born on November 30, 1934 in Castelpetroso Province of Isernia in Italy. He lived in Switzerland for three years and then came back to Italy to serve in the Italian Army. In 1966 Giuseppe came to Canada to live, and was married in 1968, where he raised his family in Winnipeg, MB. Giuseppe worked for Winnipeg Hydro and retired in 1996 to spend time with his family. During his retirement he used his time to spend it with his two grandchildren that he loved so much. Giuseppes passion in life was his family, and friends, and he also loved spending time playing his accordion. Pallbearers attending are, Sabino Urciuli, Nick Giancola, Frank Giancola, Michael Hirschkom, Giulio Giancola, Orest Giancola. Honorary Pallbearer is John Giancola. Prayers will be said on Thursday, May 17 at 7:30 p.m. in Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Ave. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 18 at 11:00 a.m. also in Holy Rosary Church, with Rev. Fr. Sam Argenziano officiating. Interment will follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation in Giuseppes memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3B 2H8. I am just going through our family name on the internet and have across this page I know it has been 10 years. I am Joe Giancola Cousin son of Giulio Giancola Decessed.
