PEARL KAISER Pearl Kaiser was called to her Heavenly Home on May 9, 2001. Her husband of 45 years Henry predeceased her in 1994, as well as two brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her children, Lyn (Frank) Anderson of Vernon, Kathy Kaiser of Sidney, Beverly (Craig) Essex of Denver, CO, and Debbie (Ken) DeDecker of Winnipeg, MB. Grandchildren, Chris, Sarah, Kate Anderson, Mike Kaiser, Lindsay and Adriene Essex, Adam, Brent and Tia DeDecker; and one sister, Eve Ora of Santa Barbara, CA. Pearl was born August 6, 1926 in Hazelridge, MB and lived many years in Winnipeg, with her family. In 1979 Hank and Pearl retired to Victoria and enjoyed travelling. A memorial service to celebrate Pearls life will be held at Grace Lutheran Church, 1273 Fort St., Victoria, BC, on Friday, May 18 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Victoria Hospice Society, 1900 Fort St., Victoria, BC V8R 1J8, or the Canadian Lutheran World Relief, in care of Grace Lutheran Church, 1273 Fort St., Victoria, BC V8V 3L4.
