G. MARIA HARPER Suddenly on Wednesday, May 9, 2001 at her home G. Maria Harper died at the age of 85 years. Maria will be lovingly remembered by her sisters, Aurora, Florence, Eleanore and Irene; and brother Brian. She will also be sadly missed by numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband John (Jack) Harper in 1989. She had a kindly word for each and died beloved by all. A celebration of Marias life will take place on Friday, May 18 at 2:00 p.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1858 Portage Ave. If friends so desire, donations in memory of Maria may be made to CancerCare Manitoba 675 McDermot Avenue Winnipeg, MB.
