Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySOFIE DEITCHE (nee Rust) On Tuesday, April 24, 2001 at age 88, in Kelowna, B.C., she went to her eternal home. She was born September 18, 1912 in Cataloi Romania. She immigrated to Winnipeg in 1951, where she lived until 1993. At age 82 she moved to Kelowna, B.C. Her husband Philip died in 1990. She loved gardening (flowers), doing handicrafts and talking about her life during Second World War and how she survived. In mourning are her five daughters Rosa (Erwin) Tschritter of Stoney Creek, Ont., Susie (Adolf) Kruger of Okanagan Falls, B.C., Erna (George) Wesenberg of Peachland, B.C., Herta (Steve) Towle of Winnipeg, Erika Mueller of Calgary, Alta. 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grand-children and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral service took place Friday, April 27 in Kelowna, B.C. Sofies final resting place is beautiful Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery. A golden heart stopped beating Two working hands at rest It broke our hearts to lose you But God only takes the best. Rest in Peace Mama!
