Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANTHONY (TONY) REICHERT Peacefully with his wife and children at his side, Anthony (Tony) Reichert, passed away at the age of 88 years on Friday, May 11, 2001 at the Johnson Memorial Hospital in Gimli. Tony will be deeply missed by his wife Rose; his five children, Dolores Siegner, Verna Brown, Ed (Arlene) Reichert, Louise (David) Wasylowski, and Diane Chapman; 14 grandchildren, Mark, Scott, Roger, Neil, Dale, Tammy, Dean, Kurt, Clayton, Theresa, Mark, Jason, Christopher, and Christen; and seven great-great-grandchildren. Tony farmed in Berlo and worked at the Gimli Air Base until his retirement in 1966. He then relocated to Gimli where he lived his remaining years. On May 3, 2001, Tony and Rose celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a gathering of family members. The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Chapnick, the Gimli Hospital staff and all the homecare workers for their professional care and support. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 16 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Michaels Roman Catholic Church, Gimli, MB with interment to follow in the Gimli Community Cemetery. Tonys pallbearers will be his grandchildren Theresa, Kurt and Clayton Reichert, Dale and Dean Wasylowski, and Mark Siegner. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tonys memory to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB. Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Gimli, in care of arrangements.
